Florida Power and Light, FPL, provides the electric service for Forest Park.  Each homeowner is responsible for their own electric service after the meter installed on the side of your home.  Homeowners that have sold their home or are renting it out on an annual lease need to contact FPL to notify them of the last day you will need service.  If you are a tenant who is paying for electricity, you must contact FPL to notify them that you will no longer be responsible for the electric after the date you are going to be out of the home.  If you are a new homeowner or renter, you will need to contact FPL to establish the date you will become responsible for the electric bill.  Forest Park MPOA is responsible for the electric costs for all street lights, landscape lighting on common areas, irrigation pump electricity at the 3 pump stations around the lake. the front entry gates, clubhouse lighting, and pool pumps and lights.
